Pennsylvania Pick 3 and Pick 4 history

PICK 3 and PICK 4 — formerly The Daily Number and Big 4 — from March 1977.

Pennsylvania's PICK 3 and PICK 4 are drawn twice a day. Pennsylvania calls its midday drawing Day; Lottery Logs labels it Midday so draw times read the same in every state.

Wild Ball

Pennsylvania introduced Wild Ball on September 13, 2016: an optional add-on, with one extra digit drawn at every Day and Evening drawing of its PICK games. The Calendar shows the Wild Ball after the winning number, in the special-ball colour. Permutation searches use only the winning number as drawn.

Draw times in Trends and the Explorer

The By draw time comparison in Trends starts February 11, 2003, when Day drawings became permanent. The promotional drawings of February 1997 stay on the Calendar but are not counted in that comparison.
